Level 2: Yoga Beats

A strong 20 minute flow
Level: 2 ~ About Levels
Music I practiced with : Yoga ^ Beats (it’s not a typical “yoga” playlist)

:::::::::::

Here’s what I practiced today! I felt strong and stable after my workout and this is where my intuition led me. Strength in the core, stability in the legs, stretch through the hips. Nothing fancy, just flowy and good for the heart<3. I’m not sure what a high-crescent to a hug-the-thigh would be called but I love a pose with no name. And if the core work in the beginning doesn’t land in real life, don’t worry about it! Do what makes sense and feels safe in your body, leave the rest.

**The flow. The squiggled spine represents a twist. The line as the “nose” represents the direction of the gaze.

Today’s poem, from Rilke’s Book of Hours, Love Poems to God

For more poetry and creative writing or if you simply enjoy the company of a blank page, I’d love to share some journal prompts with you. Under Sunday Prompts you can find all the ways I’ve experimented with writing that truly soothes my soul.

Thank you for practicing with me today.
